through yoga, meditation and reiki was inspired solely by my own personal experience. It all started in 2013 when I left my corporate life in NYC with a very sore liver, an angry GI tract, a tender heart, a wandering mind, and no real plan. Seven months later I found myself in Thailand at a seven day silent meditation retreat. (Basically because I was robbed and had no-where else to go, but that’s beside the point!) The improvement in my health was almost instantaneous and lasting. Fascinated, I began to study and explore the correlation between body, mind and eternal wellness. I attended a few more silent meditation retreats, picked up a daily meditation practice and in 2015 I lived at the Sivananda Ashram as a Karma Yogi for four months. It was here where I started to feel a deeper connection to yoga. Being immersed in the teachings and understanding the real science behind yoga, I started to treat my practice more of a “work in” instead of a “work out.” You can also read about my journey to becoming a yoga teacher here.
I am now based in Brisbane and teach at a few studios but mainly focus on Corporate Wellness. In my classes, I love to combine creative sequencing, a spirit of playfulness and a dose of inspiration to help you deepen your soul’s practice. My hope is that when you step off the mat you feel a little bit more refreshed, nourished and balanced or at least better than when you started!
